There and Back Again is a concert of choruses, ensembles and solos which explores some of the comings and goings in opera and beyond. We will be visiting new pieces and returning to some old favourites in an exciting programme of music from the serious (Dido and Aeneas, Cosi fan Tutti, Polotsvian Dances) to the lighthearted (Kiss Me Kate). In addition, we will be giving the audience a taster of our July 2018 main production, La Belle Helene by Jacques Offenbach, which will premier a new translation written for Opera at Bearwood.
Performed in English, we are delighted to bring you an excellent cast of soloists who join our Opera at Bearwood chorus for what promises to be a fantastic operatic experience.
There are three performances: Saturday 20th July at 14.30 and at 19.30 and on Sunday 21st at 14.30.
Prices are 18.00 pounds and concessions 15.00 pounds.
Price for students, all nights, 8.00 pounds.
